27% of the total area is a protected area of Nepal. Hera is 10% birds and 5.5% of mammals of the world. This protected area known as the National park, Conservation area, Hunting reserve, and Wildlife reserve is most famous for travel inside Nepal. This protected area is directly under the supervision Nepal army. There is 20 protect are which is 12 national park, 6 conservation area, 1 hunting area, and 1 Wildlife reserve.


NATIONAL PARK IN NEPAL

  1. Chitawan national park: Its area is 932 sq. km and established in 1973 CE.
  2. Sagarmatha national park: Its area is 148 sq. km and established in 1976 CE.

  1. Banke National Park: Its area is 550 sq. km established in 2010 CE.         
  2. Bardiya national park: Its area is 968 sq. km established in 1988 CE.

  2. Api-Nampa conservation area: 1903 sq. km established in 2010 CE. 
  3. Blackbuck conservation area: 1595 sq. km established in 2009 CE.
  4. Gaurishankar conservation area: 2179 sq. km established in 2010 CE.
  5. Kanchanjunga Conservation Area: 2035 sq. km established in 1997 CE.
  6. Manaslu Conservation Area: 1663 sq. km established in 1998 CE.

  1. Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve: 175 sq. km established in 1976 CE.

HUNTING RESERVE IN NEPAL (Protected areas of Nepal)

  1. Dhorpatan hunting reserve: 1325 sq. km established in 1987 CE.
