Some are attracted by the mountains and come to climb the mountains, others enjoy the culture and old art of Kathmandu, and others are satisfied with spiritual practices and philosophy. It depends on totally what you are desired. I am talking about some of the top places to visit in Nepal.

• Kathmandu: What are the things worth seeing in Kathmandu near me? The answer has shortly come to Temple, Palace, Museum, Mountain viewpoint are places to see in Kathmandu. There is 20 protected area in Nepal is 12 National parks are Chitawan national park, Sagarmatha national park, Bardiya national park, Langtang national park, Rara national park, Shey Fokshundo national park, Khaptad national park, Makalu Barun national park, Shivpuri national park, Banke national park, Suklaphant national park, Parsa national park, 6 conservation area are Annapurna conservation area, Api Nampa conservation area, Blackbuck conservation area, Gaurishankar conservation area, Kanchanjunga conservation area, and Manaslu Conservation area, 1 hunting reserve is Dhorpatan and 1 Wildlife reserve is Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve.

Best time to visit Nepal

What kind of activities do you like to do? If you want to go trekking and expedition, the best time of the spring season is March-April-May and the winter season is October-November-December. Apart from these months, the monsoon starts here in spring and very cold in winter. In the rainy season June-July-August few treks going on the trans-Himalayas (places beyond the mountains Manang, Mustang, Dolpa, etc). As the monsoon does not cross the mountains, the rainfall is less here. This region belongs to the Tibetan Plateau, called the roof of the world. 

A famous city in Nepal

It is difficult to say which cities are famous. Lukla the gateway to Mt. Everest is world-famous for being a small village. Kathmandu city is the capital of Nepal and Biratnagar is the big city and capital of Provision 1. Pokhara is a beautiful city where you can see close-up views of amazing mountain ranges including Annapurna 8091 meters, Dhaulagiri 8167 meters, and Fishtail (Machhapuchhare) 6993 meters. Lukla and Namche Bazar are known as the gateway to Mt. Everest. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha also called Light of Asia. Chitwan is famous for Jungle Safari. Manang, Mustang, and Dolpa are Famous for the trans-Himalayan trek. Dolpa is also the gateway to Mt. Kailash and Kailash Mansarovar yatra which is located in Tibet (China).

Trekking information management system (TIMS)

Travelers of all nationalities including Indians, who are interested to visit the general trekking area of Nepal, need a TIMS card. TIMS cards can receive from Kathmandu (NTB office, TAAN office, and government registered trekking agencies). Pokhara (NTB office, TAAN office, and government-registered trekking company). Know before visit Nepal

Here some tips you must know before visit Nepal or While in Nepal. On this topic, I'll write briefly on another page. Here are shortly some tips for you. Cash for paying on arrival visa fee, taxi fare, etc. Nepal does not have an online system in all areas.  In remote areas, you can't pay with a Debit/Credit card. Travel-related documents TIMS, Permit cards, tickets, etc. Travel gear depending on your tour. Remember don't travel alone for your safety, hire a license holder guide or porter for making better travel. Always respect local peoples and their culture. If you respect them, they will support you from the soul and never forget you. Try to leave only your footprints.
