Nagarkot is a famous scenic spot near Kathmandu Valley. It is located 32 kilometers northeast of the capital Kathmandu and 20 kilometers east of Bhaktapur city. There are many options to go to Nagarkot. It takes One to one and half hour by car. Walking is not considered as good as it is accessible by road.

Other mountain peaks seen from here are Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, Gaurishankar, Choyu, Lhotse, Makalu Himal etc. from Dhaulagiri Range to Kanchenjunga Range. Nagarkot area is also famous for its sunrise view from the lap of the mountains. The sunrise looks good only from the view tower, but to climb the view tower carefully, you have to climb a ladder of about 90 degrees. This photo was not taken from the View Tower. By the time I climbed the view tower, the sun had risen.
