Udhauli Kirant festival is the main festival celebrated by the Kirat communities of Sunuwar, Rai, Limbu, and Yakkha after migrating from a high altitude to a low altitude and it is celebrated every year on the day of the full moon which falls in November / December according to the lunar calendar.
