The Annapurna circuit has now become normal due to the transport facility to Manang and hotel facilities at the base camp and high camp. As the maximum height of Thorang La is up to 5416 meters, you can avoid high altitude sickness while resting. if you have time, you can make your journey more enjoyable by visiting Tilicho Lake 4919m, the highest lake in the world, and Lo Manthang in Upper Mustang. There are many such tourist sites under Annapurna Circuit.

How to do Annapurna circuit

Now that the transport facility is available, it is possible to reach Manang by vehicle. But because of the rough roads, only small jeeps and powerful bikes can reach. Another option is to reach Manang, about 9 kilometers away, by air from Humde. Even though the lower part of Manang is beautiful, walking on the road is not so much fun. Therefore, it is suitable to start trekking from Manang.

Travel Preparation

There are hotels up to Thorong High Camp and sometimes there is a tea shop at Thorong Pass during the special peak season. So you don't have to do heavy preparation. As you have to climb up to an altitude of 5416 meters, it is best to carry warm clothes and sleeping bags if possible. Be sure to carry a stick, goggles, water bottle, sunscreen, sun hat and first aid kit. About 30 to 50 liters of rucksack is also required for loading these items.
Suggestion for travelers
Take photos and videos but leave only footprints. Respect the culture and traditions of the locals. They and their ancestors have been dedicating this place for thousands of years. Hunting and collection of natural resources are illegal. Manage your garbage respectfully.
