The 32 Kirat Kings ruled in Nepal for 1963 years 8 months. The Lichhavi dynasty dethroned the Kirat dynasty in 158 CE according to evidence of the Jaya Barma statue found in Maligaun, Kathmandu. According to different genealogies, the number of Kirant kings varies, but in all genealogies, the first king is Yalambar. According to the more trustworthy Gopal Raj dynasty, 32 Kiranti kings seem to have ruled Nepal. Remember, Gopals are the first rulers of Nepal. Gopal Raj Vamshavali is a handwritten manuscript of Nepal in the 14th century, mainly a Nepali emperors' genealogical record.
